Released Dec 2007, didn’t get her back then though I wanted to just so I could pair her up with the Goth loli Rei that Amie-Grand released too. But cancelled her just before release cause I probably ran out of cash I think. Plus, I always did prefer Rei over Asuka, so getting Asuka wasn’t high on the priority list. But Xmas is here, and shops around are having specials, and I guess I haven’t pampered myself in a bit ^^; So I finally completed the pair-up as well one year later.
Weird how when you’re working, you want a day off, and when you get a day off, you get so bummed out you’d rather be working instead. At least that’s how it is for me. So anyways, there wasn’t much to do so I thought I’d just open this figure and finally display her. Didn’t exactly intend to go for this figure but got it anyway since it sort of popped up right in front of me, so I thought: “why not?”. Not too many photos since it’s sort of a ritual now to take photos as I open them so this isn’t much of a review. For review purposes, do check out James’ sweet photos of her here instead.
One of the games I was looking forward to this month, though there’s actually lots of games for me this month, none of the rest will reach me till next year though I suppose, which is just as well, since I’m gonna be needing the time to finish up the current games. The art really caught my eye for this game, and reading further into the article on it, the storyline seemed pretty solid as well. And when these two things add up for me, I’m a goner for sure. This is an adult game, so I guess I’m obliged to say NSFW post here. Though there’s nothing risque within the post (at least I think so ^^;) that’s openly viewable, consider yourself warned anyway :p
Not exactly the cleanest finished figure out there, but they rarely are nowadays I feel. Heh. This figure was never planned for, though I was rather impressed with the size when she first came into stock about a month or so ago at the shop. It looked pretty sweet was what I thought, something I wouldn’t mind having, but not something I would have to go for at all costs. In any case, got this one as a sort of gift, so whether there’s any issues or not, I can’t complain. Though I can’t say this will be much of a critical complaining post, I actually do enjoy her all in all.
