~真剣で私に恋しなさい!! 「みなとそふと – Minato Soft」 Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!!~

The 2nd title from Minato Soft, with the 1st title being: “君が主で執事が俺で -- Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de” which most will be familiar with since it aired as an anime last year. This title as usual caught my eye in magazines and among the line up for August, this title definitely caught my interest the most, so here it is~ *May be NSFW*

The OP theme is titled: 愛で斬るなら痛くな~い! -- Ai de Kiru nara Itakuna-i! and is performed by the 5 main heroines.

Pretty sweet box, and as you can see from the reverse of the box, a pretty large cast within the game as well.

Not exactly a game manual, but serves more as an installation guide, with the manual being installed instead and viewed as a web page. Contains the lyrics for the songs within the game as well.

2 game discs, where full installation equals 7.2 GBs.

Material book containing sketch art and CGs as well as a glossery of terms within the game. Included with the first print edition of the game. No pictures within since it’s recommended to avoid looking at it before beating the game to prevent spoilers and I’m a man who listens to sage advice…

System voice CD that is included in the official pre-order campaign. Contains system voices of about 50 characters within the game.

The other CD included in the pre-order campaign, includes the full tracks and karaoke versions of the songs within the game.

Screen cleaner which is a shop pre-order bonus.

That box thingie contains a B2-sized bath poster which also comes as a shop pre-order bonus. Same illustration as the phone card here, which is not shown due to obvious reasons.

Pretty much plays like other adventure games, with SD cut-ins during the game as well as a character select screen at intervals. Story thus far has been pretty awesome with lots of gags thrown in. Sub-characters are really engaging as well and things are shaping out to be really interesting at this point. Additional characters get unlocked as you progress through the game which certainly entices you to go for 100%, and all the heroines are pretty inviting as you shall see~

川神 百代 -- Kawakami Momoyo

Class: 3-F
Height: 173cm
3-size: 90 . 58 . 88
Blood Type: O
Birthdate/sign: Aug 31/Virgo
Weapon: Fists

The only elder person within the group of friends (風間ファミリー -- Kazama Family). The protagonist (直江 大和 -- Naoe Yamato) is treated by her as her underling and she in turn plays an elder sister role to the protagonist.

神川 一子 -- Kamikawa Kazuko

Class: 2-F
Height: 159cm
3-size: 77 . 54 . 79
Blood Type: B
Birthdate/sign: Feb 26/Pisces
Weapon: Naginata

In the same class as Yamato, energetic and positive. Referred to as “Wan-ko” since her name can be read as one-ko and regarded in a friendly and close manner as their pet within the Kazama Family. Looks up to Momoyo and aims to be her equal, therefore always training.

椎名 京 -- Shiina Miyako

Class: 2-F
Height: 155cm
3-size: 84 . 59 . 83
Blood Type: A
Birthdate/sign: Apr 13/Aries
Weapon: Bow and arrow

Childhood friend of Yamato and a member of the family as well. Looks cute, but does not talk to anyone outside of the family, responding to others in a mechanical manner. Rescued by Yamato while being bullied when young, she has taken a liking to him and tries to get his attention whenever possible.

黛 由紀江 -- Mayuzumi Yukie

Class: 1-C
Height: 167cm
3-size: 88 . 56 . 87
Blood Type: AB
Birthdate/sign: Oct 26/Scorpio
Weapon: Japanese Sword

A very shy girl, she is unable to converse normally with others, and instead talks to her cellphone mascot strap which is pictured in game disc 2. Stays in the same dormitory as Yamato.

クリスティアーネ ・フリードリヒ -- Christine Friedrich

Class: 2-F
Height: 163cm
3-size: 80 . 58 . 81
Blood Type: A
Birthdate/sign: Oct 26/Scorpio
Weapon: Rapier

An overseas transfer student that joined the class of Yamato. Does not like the tactical style of Yamato, preferring a straight forward approach which is more in line with her character. Views Kazuko as her rival.

A pretty fun-filled game for me so far, and I’m expecting it to only get better. Theme of this game is centered mainly around friendship, and that’s always something that I enjoy. I’m probably gonna clear Miyako first, followed by Yukie (they’re both so cute!). With any luck, I’ll be able to update further. Until the next time where I can drop my stuff for the next post~

So is that what you’ve been busy with!

I have to say that Kawakami really stands out among all the other females in the cast. Actually, she stands out among a lot of female anime characters period.

The others seem a little generic…

Art wise, it doesn’t seem as good quality as some of the other games you’ve played. Goodies wise, also doesn’t seem as jam packed with good stuff either. What’s the deal with that? It cost a pretty penny.

Nah, more busy with the annoying thing called life actually, I do wish it was games that kept me busy though. But thankfully, it seems I may be free from the hassle of life once again soon :p

By Kawakami, I assume you meant Momoyo since there are 2 Kawakami’s?

I kind of liked the art style, though I can’t really say for sure if it’s actually poorer quality than the others since I regard games differently. Sort of the way if I buy clothes, I just go for what I like and the quality of it doesn’t really factor in I guess.

It’s a 2-disc game, so I guess that added to the price, and of course, the many voice actors used in the production. Goodies do not usually cost anything too since they’re considered bonuses unless it’s some real expensive bonus. I do wish I could have gotten the bedsheet which was a pre-order bonus of another store though =/ But otherwise at least it can’t be said that this game was the worst goodies-wise that I’ve gotten.

    I’m always so jealous of these sorts of posts from you, since I don’t know enough Japanese yet to really understand the eroge I’ve played. xD Due to that fact, I’ve basically downloaded the vast majority instead of buying them (for fear once I actually have the language under my belt better, I’ll absolutely hate it ), and playing through them is a huge guess for me. ^^;

Either way, it looks and sounds like a fun game, so I’m glad you’re enjoying it.

      It wasn’t easy for me at first, but I think I’ll be more likely to drop a game if I didn’t buy it, so in a way I force myself to know the language better too (thank goodness for voice over replays). I actually ponder over games for quite a bit before deciding to buy em, so I seldom regret them. I only regret not being able to free up more time to clear the backlog tho ^^;

this game is defintely worth the money. its a jackpot game for me this year~!
the character voice fits in nicely to each of the character compare to some of the games totally fail in voice matching.

i give it a 10/10 for chris’s story~! she is just too cute~! maybe i should learn the blackout sneak attack from yamato and try it on my gf! XD

So far have just cleared Shiina and am now halfway through Yukie, but I’m totally enjoying it definitely. The voices are definitely awesome including some of the “mystery” voice actors.

      • jifu says:

Yup yup game of the year~
Every character is so unique in sense i enjoy replaying some of the scenes mostly on chris and a little of momo onee-san~ Kazuko route is not bad also especially the confession part~ it has the sad happy flow in her story! Not to forget he cute Inu facial expression~

        • shino says:

Haha, can’t exactly say it’ll be the game of the year for me since I’m totally into Baldr Sky for this year and if Dive 2 is as awesome as Dive 1, the series will definitely be my no.1 for this year~ :p
